MARYSVILLE GARDEN COTTAGES

We were contracted by Scenic Marysville to produce a cinematic hero video for both of their accommodations in Marysville: Scenic Marysville and Garden Cottages. Our approach to the videos was to focus on the experience and emotion of what the stay would look like, plus showcase the surrounding attractions to convert new customers.

The tricky part was designing two concepts for the two businesses, each with its own story and selling point. Scenic Marysville’s video has a focus on adventure: climbing mountains, hiking in the rainforest and exploring the town. Garden Cottages, on the other hand, took a more intimate approach, depicting the feeling of a night in the cottages and waking up with the love of your life. Both videos shared an overarching strategy by highlighting the idea of connection through a romantic getaway for adults (their target market).

The two final 60 second cinematic hero videos were shot over a mammoth two days with a lot of moving parts such as location moves, complex camera and lighting rigs, and managing accommodation for the cast and crew.
